Are you a gamer? Japanese toymaker Takara Tomy has done one better for gamers -- a piggy bank shaped like a real (and working) Space Invaders arcade machine. The 1/6-scale Space Invaders cabinet is made for saving up coins; when you put one in, you get to play a round of the 1978 megahit. "The fire button, two-direction joystick and reset button on the control panel are faithfully reproduced, as are the instruction sheets on both sides of the screen and the serial-number plate on the side," said Takashi Ohsawa, creator of the bank, at a press conference. "If you put the included color film on the LCD screen, you can enjoy the game complete with the colors of the arcade original. We worked hard on the details."
